1. Client-Side Plot Composer

The interactive plot brief composer on our Home and Contact pages operates entirely inside your web browser using plain JavaScript. None of the measurements, names, or notes you type into those fields are transmitted to a remote database when you click "Update Brief Preview," "Copy," or "Download .TXT." Data is only sent to us if you explicitly choose to send an email to [email protected].

2. Direct Email Correspondence

If you contact us by email, we process your email address, name, and the contents of your message under Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (legitimate interest in responding to reader inquiries). We retain reader correspondence for up to 18 months before permanent deletion, and we never sell or share reader addresses with third-party marketers.

3. Server Access Logs

For basic security and fault diagnosis, our web hosting infrastructure records standard HTTP request logs (anonymized IP address, date/time stamp, requested page, and user-agent string) for a maximum of 14 days.

4. Your Rights Under GDPR
